Hold in your hands/ all of my truths

Watched the Saints v Port game on Sunday and the way these two boys interact on the field is so incredibly inspiring :D


He kissed him. And pulled back in shock a moment later. He hadn't meant to do that. It was just that they'd won the game and Dal was smiling and beautiful and...It had felt like the most natural thing in the world to just lean in and kiss him. And now Dal was looking at him with wide blue eyes.

"BJ?"

He didn't know how to explain that he'd wanted to do that for a very long time. So he played it off, pretending that it had been spur of the moment and didn't see Dal's face fall as he shook it off and walked away.

The next time it happens is in the gym. The team has just finished doing a set of push-ups and Dal is next to him on the floor. Really, he doesn't know why he keeps putting himself in situations like this, except that he knows, he knows Dal draws him in like a magnet.
Everyone is starting to stand up and move off to the showers and Dal, still lying on the floor, turns and looks at him with smoky blue eyes, a smile on his face and all sane thought flees his mind.
He leans in and kisses him. Dal falls in to it and this time he doesn't pull away.

He feels BJ's fingers trace down his neck and fights the urge to shiver. BJ keeps his eyes on his fingers and Dal cannot tear his eyes away from BJ's face.
Then BJ looks up,, sharp and sudden.

"Dal" BJ says, voice breathless, matching the rapid beat of their hearts.

"Hi" he whispers back.

BJ smiles and Dal feels his heart skip a beat.

"Are you...?" BJ asks him, voice uncertain.

Dal kisses him, hand at the back of BJ's neck to pull him closer.

"Yes" he breathes against BJ's lips.

"Yes, I'm sure"
