Isn't it obvious?
'Cooper... there is something in my eye' Brett scratched his eye with his finger.
Cooper looked at Brett. Though how stupid it sounded, he was struggling. Cooper placed his book on the desk.
'Close your eye. Keep it closed' Cooper neared Brett.
Brett began scratching his eye.
'Stop that!' Cooper snapped crouching down next to Brett.
'Can’t help myself' Brett smiled.
'Let me see' Cooper leaned closer.
Brett lay on his bed, opening his eyes wide.
Cooper leaned in and opened Brett's eye wider. His fingers were soft and gentle on the blonde man’s skin.
'I don't see anything' Cooper spoke.
'Really?' Brett was surprised.
'Nah' Cooper said blowing air into Brett's eye.
Without a word, Brett reached in and placed a quick kiss on Cooper's cheek. Closing his eyes Brett rested his head back down on his pillow.
'Brett?' Cooper was surprised. 'What was that?'
'Eye's good' Brett said opening his eyes.
'Really?' Cooper smiled.
'Yeah' Brett said trying his best not to laugh.
'Okay...' Cooper said getting up. He collected his book and sat on his bed.
'Do you have a girlfriend Cooper?' Brett turned to face Cooper.
Cooper stared at Brett for a second.
'No'
'That’s a shame' Brett said looking genuinely sad.
'Don’t worry about my life Brett. I can take care of my self'
'I know. Not saying you can't' Brett faced the ceiling.
'We should go somewhere together' Brett said still facing the ceiling.
'We are together' Cooper said half shocked by Brett’s words.
'Not like this. We have a game tomorrow. I bet you Cam is listening to our conversation right now' Brett kept his voice low.
'Cam’s got better things to do then listen in to other people's conversations'
Brett turned to face Cooper.
'Dallas is a fine man' Brett said keeping a straight face.
Cooper smiled. He knew about Cameron’s relationship with Dallas. Not many did. He was surprised by how quickly Brett grasped it.
Brett stared at Cooper. He felt like he had known Cooper forever. He didn't understand why.
'You are staring' Cooper said.
'I am' Brett said
'Do you have some sort of a crush on me Brett?'
'I do have a crush on you. I thought it was obvious' Brett smiled.
'Man. You are so...different'
'So do you want to go away with me?' Brett asked.
Cooper laughed. 'I’ll think about it'
He couldn't tell whether Brett was joking.
'Good. I mean how can you say no to me? So good looking. Talented. And smart-'
'You are so full of your self' Cooper cut in.
Brett smiled. 'Only when I’m around you'

He heard Israels' feet hit the carpet and felt his arms wrap around him soon after. He leaned back and relaxed. After the Broncos' game in Sydney, Israel had come down to visit him. He was glad. His ankle sprain meant he wouldn't be going up to Queensland for weeks and wouldn't have gotten the chance to see Israel in all that time.
Thunder crashed through the monotone of the rain and he felt Israels' arms tighten around him.
"You used to hate storms" Israel said softly.
He'd always been afraid of the raw power of storms, they could destroy him if he was careless.
"Don't hate them anymore" he replied as he turned in the circle of Israels' arms.
When Israel had first realised his fear, he had made sure to be with him anytime there had been a storm. He would lie there in Israels' arms as the storm blew outside but never get the chance to focus on his fear because Israel was there keeping his mind away from the storm with words, tongue and teeth.
He leaned forward and kissed Israel gently.
"There's only you now"

Origin aftermath
Johnathan stirred and he found himself suddenly looking in to a pair of clear brown eyes.
"Awake already?"
"No. Go back to sleep"
Johnathan smiled.
"C'mere" Jay leaned in and kissed him softly on the lips.
He leaned back and glared at the brightening light of day.
"Too early" Johnathan said before wrapping himself around him and closing his eyes.
He pressed his lips against Jays' hair and closed his eyes.
Five origins in a row :D

"Dal?"
"Are you alright?"
"I'm fine. Just a little infection"
"'Just a little infection?' A little infection that's keeping you out of the team indefinitely?"
"Dal..."
"Why didn't you call me?"
"I didn't want to worry you"
"I hate this, Matt! I hate being the last person to find out. Do you know how it feels to know that the papers know more about what's going on with you than I do?"
"I'm sorry, Dal. I didn't mean to...I really didn't want to worry you. Especially when..."
"When I wouldn't be able to do anything even if you told me. Matt, I love you. You know I'd drop everything and come up if you needed me"
"I know. I know. But this really isn't serious so you don't have to worry"
"You better be telling the truth. They looking after you up there?"
"Yeah. Drummos' made me soup and everything"
"Good as mine?"
"Never as good as yours, love"
"Will you tell me next time? Even if it's something small, don't let me find out from the papers"
"I will. I'm sorry. I didn't mean to hurt you"
"I know"
These 15 minute breaks are so very useful :D

Thoughts on a scar
He traced his fingers down the scar gently. Nick said it didn't hurt but it looked so red and sore that Justin didn't believe him. He followed his fingers with his lips and was aware of brilliant blue eyes watching him as he glanced up.
He hated it. This ugly, glaring scar that marred his love. Unlike other little scrapes and cuts, this wouldn't disappear. Nick would carry it for the rest of his life. A reminder of one of the worst times of his life. Justin hated it for the doubt it had put in Nicks' eyes. Doubt in his own ability. He knew Nick would get back to his best and he just hoped that he trusted his body, his ability and not let doubt cripple him as he himself sometimes did. He didn't trust his body anymore, it had let him down too many times. He didn't want Nick to ever feel that way. Ever.
He moved up Nicks' body to meet those lips that waited for him curved in to a small smile.
"Happy?"
Justin grinned and shook his head.
"No"
Nick smiled and reached up to pull him down.
"Guess I'll have to prove it to you then"

Billy and JT
Billy stared at the newspaper in horror.
This could not be happening.
Johnathan came back in to the room carrying a giant mug of coffee. He paused as he saw Billy’s expression.
“Hey...what’s going on?”
When Billy didn’t answer, he set the mug down on the table and went around the couch to look at the newspaper frozen in Billy’s hands.
As he registered the headline he swore so violently Billy flinched.
“How do they..?” Johnathan asked once he’d gotten past the initial shock.
“Nicole”
“Nicole? The Nicole?”
Billy looked at him “I shouldn’t have...I was so abrupt with her...maybe I could have...”
“What? Not tell her the truth? Married her?” Johnathan asked angrily.
“No. I wouldn’t have married her. I just... Shit!” He swore as his mobile began to ring. He could also hear the phone ringing in the bed room. Johnathan sighed.
‘Get this. I’ll get the other one”
Billy picked up the phone.
“Hello?” He asked tentatively.
“What the fuck is going on?” Billy flinched at the anger in his managers’ voice. As he listened to his manager’s contingency plans about how to manage the situation, Billy heard Johnathan shouting in the other room “Because it’s none of your fucking business!” followed by a crash.
“I gotta go” Billy said hurriedly to the phone.
“Ok, Ok. Just don’t go outside till I get there alright? And tell Johnathan to stay calm”
When Billy got to the bedroom, he was met with the sight of broken glass on the floor and Johnathan sitting on the side of the bed, head in his hands. He went over and knelt in front of his lover.
“Hey”
Johnathan looked up, lowering his hands.
“This is so fucked up”
Billy grinned, taking Johnathan’s hands in his.
“We’ll get through this. Ricky’s coming over and he always has a plan. Everything will be alright...Johnathan”
Johnathan looked at Billy.
“I don’t know Billy...everything’s going to change now. How are we gonna..?” He gestured helplessly with his hands.
Billy got up and sat down on the bed next to him. Johnathan turned to face him, his brown eyes wide.
“Johnathan, you and me we’ve been through so much. There’s no way this is gonna change anything, there’s no way I’m gonna lose this, lose us” He touched Johnathan’s face gently and kissed him on the lips. “I love you. Nothing is ever gonna change that”
To be continued...
Ice bath
Yellowleaf here :) I was given the privilege of posting the first fic... so i decided to let you all in on the secret [but unfortunately not real] lives of Cooper and Brett. Enjoy!
Cooper Cronk lowered himself onto the icy cold bath. His body refused to touch the freezing cold water but he forced himself. He swore inside as he tried to relax. He took quick breaths and forced himself to gradually take normal breaths.
The silence in his apartment was broken by the ringing of his mobile. Cooper let it go. He wasn't going to go through this again. Just as the ringing stopped he heard his home phone go off. Great. Cooper thought. Maybe it was important. He pulled himself up only to hear the call go to voice box. He heard a familiar voice.
'I know you are at home. Pick up…Coop don't you close your front door? Thought i come say hi. Either you trust everyone or someone has broken into your-'
Cooper watch on as Brett Finch opened the bathroom door.
'Hi' Brett smiled.
'Brett what on earth?' Cooper quickly sat down in his bath tub.
'Door wasn't locked'
'So you just come in?' Cooper didn't know what to say.
'Yeah, i mean it's good it was me and not some crazy pervert' Brett smiled taking a seat on the bathroom sink bench.
Cooper stared at Brett for a second. 'I know what you mean'
'So...' Brett having the higher ground had a full view of Cooper. 'You do this after every game?'
Cooper now realized that Brett was staring and he was naked.
'Brett do you mind?' Cooper covered himself with his hands.
'Nope. Not at all' Brett smiled taking a good look around Cooper’s bathroom. He saw the glass cup to his side and picked up the toothbrush from it.
'Blue?' Brett asked. 'I thought you were more of a red?'
'Brett do you need anything?' cooper asked getting a tad annoyed.
Brett looked at him. 'Can i join you?'
'What? In the tub?' Cooper was surprised.
Brett looked at Cooper and nodded smiling.
'Not much space in here' Cooper was shocked more than anything.
'That's okay. I'll fit' Brett said getting off the bench. He began removing his jacket. Cooper watched in horror as Brett began removing his clothes one by one.
'Brett!' Cooper cried in disbelief, as Brett stripped down to his underwear.
'Yeah?'
'Nothing' Cooper gave in. He turned to face the wall when Brett striped the last item of his clothing.
'You've seen me naked before right?' Brett said reaching the tub.
Cooper kept silent as Brett dipped his foot in.
Oh god. Cooper cried inside. Cooper looked when Brett's foot touched his. And there he stood. Brett in all his glory. Cooper gathered his feet in front of him covering himself from Brett's eyes.
Brett sat down in front of him. Brett swore as the cold water touched his chest. He wrapped his hands around his knees and rested his head on his knees. His eyes on cooper, Brett smiled.
Cooper no longer felt the icy water. He was warm.
He looked at Brett.
'Will you ever let me be?' Cooper asked.
'Do you really want that?' Brett was serious.
Cooper didn’t have an answer. He didn't want that. He loved the attention Brett gave him,
'That's what i thought’ Brett whispered.
‘I’m not you Finch. I can never be…’ Cooper stopped himself.
'I'm not asking you to be me coop. Ask your self what you really want?'
Cooper was silent. He wanted Freedom. Freedom to love whoever he desires.
Cooper looked down at his knees.
'Cooper live your life!'
'I...Brett you can’t come into my house and tell me what i should and shouldn't do’ Cooper was angry.
'I've seen you looking. Looking at me. Live everyday like it's your last. I'm right here Cooper. If you fall, i'll go down with you'
Brett leaned sideways watching Cooper as he rested his head on the bathroom wall.
Cooper leaned forward 'Don't worry. I will take you down with me'
He was nervous, but more than anything he wanted to prove Brett wrong.
Brett looked at him, his eyes glued to his.
Cooper got to his knees. His hands gripping either sides of the tub he leaned in slowly. His face touched Brett's. Cooper placed a soft kiss on Brett's cheek. He leaned back slightly.
'You don't know me Finchy' With that Cooper jumped out of the tub and grabbed his towel making his way out of the bathroom.
