Hidden secrets

David heard the mixed sound of the running showers and voices and turned at the corner. He saw his team mates, laughing, enjoying themselves and he was more than ready to join them. As he stepped into the showers, his captain Rocky came in locking the door behind them.

“You're late” Rocky patted David on the back as he pulled his shirt off.

“I am?” David was a little confused and his eyes lit up at the sight of Luke who stepped into the showers butt naked. Quade Cooper who was in his playing shorts joined him and wrapped his arms around Luke. David had seen some funny things in the showers but he didn't expect this. Another 4 of his mates joined in and before he knew it Luke was being gang kissed. One after another they joined in. David looked away. Not because he was revolted but because he wanted in. Luke made his heart flutter.

“He's waiting for you” Ashley came up behind him.

David was a little confused.

“What? Who?” he questioned.

“Lukey. David. We all know you've got the hots for him” Ashley smiled, making his way over to James O'Connor, who sat on one of the benches talking to Drew Mitchell.

“Go get him before he's wasted Dave” Adam called out.

Everyone in the room looked up at Ashleys’ words. Even Luke. David caught Luke's eyes.

Luke gently pushed Quade away and turned to face David.

“Go on then” someone called out.

David barely heard those words as Luke made his way to him.

David knew he would die right there and then.

The boys cheered and whistled as Luke placed his palms across his cheeks.

“What are you doing?” David whispered.

“Loving you” Luke smiled and kissed David's lips. The cheering went up a notch.

“Let him in Dave!” they yelled out. But before he could, Luke ended the kiss.

“Come on. Let's get away from these pervs” Luke said and took David by the hand. He led David away into the swimming pool, passing a confused James and a bemused Adam Ashley on the way.

James watched Luke and David leave the locker room with much curiosity. Drew and Berrick left soon after. He wondered whether everyone was paired up as he glanced around for Ashley. He zipped up his jumper and got up. Ashley wasn't anywhere to be found. James left the room. He was half way across the room when he heard Ashley’s voice behind him calling out to him.

James halted and turned. Ashley was running after him.

“Leaving without me, O'Conner?” Ashley threw an arm around James’ shoulder.

James smiled. For the first time in a long time James didn't feel alone. He felt Ashley's fingers run through his wet hair as they made their way up the stairs to the waiting bus.
